Perfect for Arizona’s Climate
What Does Ceramic Coating Protect Against?
Ceramic coating adds a durable, hydrophobic layer over your vehicle’s clear coat that helps protect the finish from UV exposure, oxidation, water spotting, bird droppings, road grime and other environmental contaminants. In Arizona, that added protection can be especially useful against intense sun, dust and hard-water exposure.
It also makes painted surfaces easier to wash and maintain while enhancing gloss and depth. Ceramic coating does not prevent rock chips, dents or deeper scratches. For physical impact protection, paint protection film (PPF) is the better solution.

Why Clear Cut Ceramic Coating Is Different

A ceramic coating is only as good as the preparation and installation behind it. At Clear Cut Glass & Tint, we install XPEL ceramic coatings in our climate-controlled Glendale facility, with careful surface preparation and paint correction when needed before the coating is applied.
Our team evaluates the condition of each vehicle first so we can recommend the appropriate preparation and coating option rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Ceramic Coating for Tesla Owners
Whether you drive a Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S or Cybertruck, we evaluate the condition of the finish before coating and recommend the appropriate level of preparation or paint correction. This helps address existing swirl marks, light imperfections and other visible defects before the ceramic coating is applied.

How Much Does Ceramic Coating Cost in Phoenix?
Ceramic coating at Clear Cut Glass & Tint typically ranges from $1,000–$2,300 per vehicle. Final pricing depends on the preparation required for your specific vehicle, including:
- Vehicle size — Larger vehicles require more product and more labor to prep and coat.
- Vehicle year and color — Certain vehicles will require different levels of preparation before coating.
- Current paint condition — Swirl marks, oxidation, scratches and other imperfections may need to be corrected before the coating is applied.
- Amount of paint correction needed — More extensive correction requires additional labor before the coating can be installed.
Clear Cut installs XPEL Ceramic Coating Premium V2, an 8-year ceramic coating. Full paint correction is typically performed as part of the preparation process, with one- or two-step correction options available upon request.
Every ceramic coating is installed inside our fully climate-controlled facility, providing a controlled environment for proper application and curing.
The Clear Cut 10-Step Ceramic Coating Process
Proper preparation is critical to ceramic coating performance. Before applying XPEL ceramic coating, our team uses a multi-step preparation process to clean and decontaminate the vehicle, address surface imperfections, remove residual oils and prepare the paint for coating application.

Should You Get Paint Correction Before Ceramic Coating?
Not every vehicle needs paint correction before ceramic coating. We inspect the paint first for swirl marks, oxidation, light scratches and other imperfections. If correction is recommended, it is completed before the coating is applied so those defects aren’t simply sealed beneath the ceramic coating.
We offer two options to choose from:
The appropriate level of paint correction can improve the clarity and gloss of the finish before ceramic coating is applied.
